Sheafly does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Nothing is ever sent to us or to anyone else. There are no metrics, no tracking, no analytics, no advertising, and no user accounts. All PDF and image processing happens locally on your Mac; the app has no network access at all.
Documents you add are copied to a private temporary workspace inside the app's sandbox for the duration of the session and deleted when the app quits. Your original files are never modified.
Passwords you enter (to unlock a protected PDF, or to protect a merged PDF) are used only in memory for that operation. They are never stored on disk and never leave your Mac.
